Here is my playlist for the standalone novel, Queen of Doors.

The first song is the only one I listened to during writing the final version of Queen of Doors. It is from a band called Stream of Passion, which was formed in 2005. As far as I’m aware, they are no longer together. This is my favorite song from them, and it fit perfectly for Queen of Doors.

“Out in the real world
You are waiting to take my hand
I’ll be looking for an answer
That leads me back”

The second song was sent to me by a friend shortly after I finished Queen of Doors, and it was still on the brain. Florence and the Machine doesn’t really need any introduction, so we’ll jump right to the playlist song, Blinding.

“No more dreaming of the dead as if death itself was undone
No more calling like a crow for a boy, for a body in the garden
No more dreaming like a girl so in love, so in love
No more dreaming like a girl so in love, so in love
No more dreaming like a girl, so in love with the wrong world”

Queen of Doors didn’t get as lengthy of a playlist as some of my books, but these two are perfect.
